Just an hour and half away from the h2o house lies one of the best kept secrets in the Pyrenees, the ski area...
This area has a totally different feel to any other with many small resorts situated quite close together, they are more like purpose built villages. It lacks the grandeur, size and crowds of the Alps and the price reflects that, and its not just the ski-pass that is cheaper but the cost of food and drink, ski & board hire and lessons.
Here is what one of our guests, Marc, thought :
"The slopes
however were amazing, about 1ft of powder all over the pistes. When I got
there I thought it was shut as I stood for 10 minutes looking at the slope and
no one came down, On all my runs I did not pass or had anyone pass me, there
must have only been about 10 people on the mountain in total.
You're going to get some great uncrowded days this season."
