Domaine du Tourmalet is the biggest ski area in the French Pyrenees with over 40 lifts and over 60 pistes this deserves more than a day's exploring.
Incorporating the villages of Bareges and La Mongie, this area gives way to some awesome looking terrain, whilst most of the pistes are aimed at the beginner to intermediate the potential off-piste looks incredible. The Domaine du Tourmalet is also the home of Quiksilver's Mathieu Crepel, 2 times World Snowboard Champion of the Half Pipe and Big Air. New for 2010, the resort and Mathieu have provided the ultimate in nailing your tricks in the Snow Park with the Airbag landing system. The Domaine du Tourmalet is also part of the N'py Card area which allows you to move between resorts for more of an adventure.
