Gourette claims to be biggest ski resort the the western Pyrenees and has one of the longest downhill slopes around which runs from top lift 2400m down to resort level 1350m. Gourette also has a snow park, a boardercross course, a special beginners area and boasts 100 snow canons to keep the season alive just that little bit longer, which is handy as the resort is south facing.
With the price of lunch being quite affordable on the mountain and a lift pass starting at just 25 euros, you can really feel the difference in your wallet.
