Luz Ardiden is quite a new area which is small but open, friendly and best still, cheap. The ski area itself is split into two stations, Aulian and Bederet.
Aulian is the main station which constists of a restaurant/cafe (which is amazingly cheap for mountain prices) and two ski/board hire shops along with the ticket office. There are two off-piste areas and a snow park to keep you busy along with 65km of pistes; this is one to visit for the day. Why not check out the N'py Card that allows you to choose from a number of resorts in the area for just over 20 euro a day.
