The Hossegor & Seignosse surf breaks range between and short walk from the h2o holidays house and a longer walk or bike ride.

Plage Sud

Parking on the side of the road is normally OK, get there early in high season. This is the place to come if everywhere to the north is closing out, generally a smaller wave here, a really barrelly crazy long left and shorter right. Lots of surf schools here, you can get lessons or hire a board from Tao Magic Glisse or Surf Trip here. Good showers and toilets.

La Graviere

A good place for short fast hectic barrels, can turn in to a bit of a beach break on higher tide, a popular spot with bodyboards and skimboarders. On bigger swells the outer bar begins working and it is common to see tow in surfers strapping in. Parking is right by the beach, you can rent boards here. A favourite spot for the Quiksilver Pro France to take place.

La Nord

This is a heavy wave even when it looks small, probably the most famous wave in the area, most of the local sponsored riders can be seen here on a good day, also a tow in spot on bigger swells. Another favourite spot for the Quiksilver Pro France. No showers.

Culs Nuls

Translated as ‘bare bums’ this is the nudist beach but if you can stand it has some awesome waves if the swell direction is right, normally better on a mid tide and with its own parking area on the other side of the dune. No shower.

Les Estagnots

Has three points that all work on different tides and some friendly locals, this break is popular all year round. Here tends to make more of the swell at the moment but can not handle anything above double-over-head so is one of the first spots to close out on a big swell. Car park by break. Showers and toilet.

Les Bourdaines

Similar to Les Estangnots but busier in the summer due to a big camp site nearby and popular bar the Cream Cafe. Good showers. Car park next to the beach. This is were they held the finals of the Quicksilver Pro France in 2009.

Le Penon

Picks up a lot of swell but cannot handle big waves. In smaller swells there is a nice wave here. With an aqua park and skate park next to the beach and loads of parking this beach is very popular in high season. Good showers and toilet.
