By Air
Our nearest airport is Biarritz (BAB), which is only 25 minutes from the h2o house. Ryanair flies to Biarritz from London Stansted and from Birmingham throughout the year, and from Dublin from Spring. Easyjet also operate summer flights to Biarritz from London Gatwick and all year round from Paris Charles de Gaulle. Air France operate internal flights from Paris Orly. You can also fly to Biarritz with Transavia from Amsterdam starting from April.
Bordeaux airport is larger and only about one hour 30 minutes away. British Airways fly from London Gatwick to Bordeaux throughout the year, as does Easyjet from London Luton. Easyjet also operate flights from Bristol and London Gatwick beginning in March to Bordeaux. You can also fly to Bordeaux from Liverpool with Easyjet in the summer. BMIbaby flights from Manchester to Bordeaux begin in March, as do Flybe flights from Birmingham to Bordeaux. Flybe also operates flights from Southampton to Bordeaux in July and August.
Pau Pyrenees airport is also abour 1 hour 30 minutes drive away. You can fly into Pau with Ryanair from London Stansted.
By Car
You can hire cars from all airports. Biarritz has 5 companies
operating from the Arrival Hall; Avis, Europcar, Hertz, National/Citer
and Sixt. Six companies operate from Bordeaux Airport; Avis,
Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National/Citer and Sixt. Pau Airport has over
400 vehicles to hire from 5 companies; Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt
and National/Citer.

Capbreton town centre is just a few minutes drive from Junction 8 off the A63 motorway from Biarritz or Bordeaux.

Public Transport
There is a very efficient bus service from Bayonne train station (Bayonne Gare) run by RDTL (route number 5). The journey will take about 25 minutes, and the service runs throughout the day and will take you to Capbreton bus station (Capbreton Gare) which is a few minutes walk from the h2o house.
You can travel from Biarritz airport to Bayonne train station with the local bus company Chronoplus on either the number 8A or the 8B, which costs 1€. The journey takes about 30 minutes. You could also take a taxi which costs from around 10€ to 15€ depending on the time of day.
A taxi from Biarritz airport to the h2o house can cost from 45€ upwards, depending on the time of day and the number of people and bags.
You can also travel by train from the UK. Travelling from London to Bayonne by train will take you about just over 8 hours, with a change in Paris.
