New WCT Men's Rankings

Published - 19 July 2010

After the fourth event of the 2010 Dream Tour, Kelly Slater (USA) is no longer in the top spot.  That honour goes instead to Jordy Smith (ZAF) who won his first WCT title at the Billabong Pro in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa.  Slater is still holding on to third position, despite being knocked out in Round 3 of the event, and Australian Taj Burrow is in second place after his excellent start to the year.  Dane Reynolds (USA) is fourth with Brazilian Adriano de Souza in fifth place.  After event number 5 in Tahiti, the number of surfers on Tour drop from 45 to 32, meaning that the guys at the bottom of the table will be surfing their best at Teahupoo in August to ensure that they stay on Tour.  Things are definately getting interesting.
