Kelly Slater has done it again in typical style.
The Iconic Natural footer hailing from Cocoa Beach in Florida has smashed his rivals in a decisive victory against current world champ Joel Parkinson.
Slater, who is now 41 years old has shown today that if you want to be the best you still have to beat him. The road was not easy he had to go through 2 previous world title holders to get the win, firstly Mick Fanning in the semis where Slater posted a combined heat score of 19.58 out of a possible 20 and then in the final, local favourite Joel Parkinson, it was an amazing heat to watch as you could tell both competitors really wanted to beat the other.
